Mandatory or Voluntary?
The information marked with an asterisk is required for us to conduct the competition. Participation is not possible without it. The description of the work and the two consents for naming and social media are voluntary and do not disadvantage participation.
Who Receives the Data
- The members of the jury for evaluation.
- The Greifswald Youth Art School / KunstWerkstätten as exhibition partner.
- ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, as hosting service provider and processor according to Art. 28 GDPR. The website and the submitted files are stored on servers in Germany.
- Press — only the image of the work; a name only with corresponding consent.
Transfer to Third Countries
No transfer to countries outside the EU takes place for the processing of submissions. If consent is given for publication in social media, the content will be published on a platform whose provider also processes data outside the EU. This occurs exclusively on the basis of consent and can be revoked at any time.
How Long We Store Data
- We delete unselected submissions by May 31, 2027 — approximately three months after the jury day, to allow for inquiries until then.
- We store selected works and their associated information until December 31, 2028, i.e., until the completion of the Rungesommer 2027 documentation.
- We retain proof of granted consents for as long as the publication continues, but no longer than December 31, 2028 (Art. 7 para. 1 GDPR).
- Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
Your Rights
Information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). Granted consents can be revoked at any time with future effect (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR) — informally to papierwelten@runge-in-wolgast.de.

No Automated Decision-Making
The age category is technically calculated from the date of birth. The jury alone decides on the selection of works. Automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.
Security of Uploads
The transmission is encrypted (TLS). Uploaded files are checked for type and size on the server side, stored under randomly assigned filenames, and located in a directory that is not accessible via the website.
