Three-Part Special Exhibition “The Dream of the Whole – Philipp Otto Runge in Wolgast”

26 June 2027, to the end of March 2028, Museum of Local History. Opening on Saturday, 26 June 2027, at 6 pm; followed at 7 pm by a Romantic Concert by the Wolgast-Anklam District Music School in St. Peter’s Church.

Special exhibition featuring original works from the Hamburger Kunsthalle and the Pomeranian State Museum at the Museum of Local History.

Confirmed loans from Hamburg: the oil study “Mask of the Mother” for the large portrait of the parents, the altarpiece “Peter on the Sea,” and silhouettes from the Kunsthalle’s Department of Prints and Drawings.

The three-part special exhibition “The Dream of the Whole – Philipp Otto Runge in Wolgast” runs from 26 June 2027, to the end of March 2028.
